Desert Dreaming Back Home

I think my heart will always be in the desert. From the landscape, to the wildlife, to the gypsy boho rock n’ roll style it lends to…the desert is just a special place.

For today’s post I wanted to share this edgy western influenced look by Berkley Elleven and catch y’all up on what I’ll be doing all week. Read on for more.

On The Road Again

This week is a busy week, like they always are. But I’m really looking forward to this week and all the mini adventures it entails.

First of all I’m getting my hair done today which I’m so happy about. Who can relate that when your hair ain’t right your life ain’t right? That is a dramatic statement but for me it’s actually true. I just feel so much more like myself once my locks are fresh and bright, not dingy and dull. Stay tuned on my Insta stories to see more from that!

After checking that major to-do off my list today I’m going to pack up and get organized for a little road trip back home in Reno. I’m mostly going just to spend time with my wonderful friends and family but also doing a few practical things like getting my car smogged, ugh.

Anyways I’m super excited to see all my loved ones and spend some time with them. Stay updated on my day to day via my Insta stories!

Desert Dancin in Berkley Elleven

But for real how cute is this look from Berkley Elleven? All the elements of this look fused together seamlessly and I felt like a total gypsy rock star queen while wearing it. This band tee and distressed denim skirt by Berkley Elleven are seriously SO soft. I actually can’t wait to pair both of them with other pieces. The skirt will be so cute with chunky sweaters and OTK boots as well as tied up button ups. The tee will be perfect with high waisted black skinny jeans or overalls for a chill weekend look.

Of course I had to throw on some boots from Matisse – my favorite boot company. And you know I can’t go to the desert without wearing one of my Lack of Color hats – also literally my favorite hat company. I am clearly a creature of habit.
