Street Style Lingerie

In recent years the street style lingerie has become a huge trend. From sheer tops with peek-a-boo bras to sexy corsets and bodysuits – lingerie has taken over the street style scene. And I for one am not mad about it. This trend isn’t for everyone, and I get that. But if you’re like me and you enjoy trying out bold looks and pushing the envelope from time to time, read on to learn how I like to rock this trend!

Be Bold, Be Brave

It’s clearly no secret that you must be feeling pretty bold if you’re going to step out of the house wearing lingerie. That’s why you’ve got to be feeling confident, sassy, and brave when wearing this trend. If you’re like me your style reflects your mood – so it only makes sense to wear something this daring when you’re feeling quite bold. Make sure to walk out of the house feeling confident, empowered, and sexy. Wether you’re showing off that revenge body or out celebrating your awesomeness, don’t let anyone dull your shine. Rock your look loud and proud and don’t look back. The worst thing you can do is start to second guess your outfit and start to feel uncomfortable. I can already guarantee you look amazing so you just rock it! It may sound silly but you really need to wear the attitude to wear the look for this style! 😉

Layers To The Rescue

When in doubt just keep adding layers. Like I mentioned above, these looks aren’t for the faint of heart. But that doesn’t mean you can’t add some layers to create some interesting textures and create a more tasteful look. For example in today’s look I paired this lace bodysuit with high waisted pants (to cover up more of my stomach) and a boyfriend fit denim jacket to add a bit of coverage on the top half. Another great way to layer lingerie is with a white button up. I often do this with lacey bras, to create an undone sexy look. It’s effortless and edgy but also feminine and chic.

Get Versatile

I usually opt for a pretty edgy look when styling lingerie for the street. Something about being a little sassy and grungey balances out the sexy side of the look. But that’s not the only way it can be done.
