My Current Favorite Designer Dupe
Who doesn’t love a good designer dupe? Every season I find myself drooling over all of the ah-mazing silhouettes, textures, and sheer artistic genius of many a designer pieces. However, it’s not every day I find myself spending upwards of $500 on an item of clothing. Therefore I love a good designer dupe, and today’s post is about my current favorite one. Read on for more! 🙂
Blue Collar Chic
Is it just me or does anyone else love dressing like a painter, mechanic, handyman etc. As a general rule of thumb I love dressing a little masculine. I also find it extremely stylish and chic to pull off a look that resembles the uniform of the manual labor industries. Is that weird? Even if it is I still love it. Not only is this trend super chic and stylish, but it’s also extremely comfortable which is always a huge plus if not a necessity.
Here’s some examples of previous blue collar chic looks I’ve worn in recent times. Here I rocked this white jumpsuit which was very reminiscent of a painter. I loved every minute of it. Here I wore another khaki jumpsuit. Slightly boyish – very sexy. Perfect combo! Here and here I rocked overalls which can definitely fall into the blue collar chic category!
The Inspo
As I mentioned above I’ve always crushed on the designer trends, but I don’t usually splurge on them. For months I’ve been obsessed with the brand Orseund Iris – a super chic brand that all the super models and celebs are rockin’. They are famous for their outer underwire tops, oversized sleeves/blouses, and overall cool girl vibe. I’ve been eying this jumpsuit for months, which is where the inspiration for this outfit came. Although the one I’m sporting is short sleeved and full length, the white piping and relaxed fit are spot on. This Givenchy jumpsuit also has the blue collar vibe down to a t! This Hudson one is also super cute – I love the denim vibe for a classic vintage look.
The Look
I shared this look on my IG stories last week, during a try on haul but I loved it so much I knew I wanted to share it in a more in depth way with you guys. It’s one of the comfiest pieces I own and also one of the cutest. I rocked it unbuttoned and tightly cinched for an elevated look for the shoot. Later in the day I wore it button to the top which a teddy coat as well. It’s pretty versatile and so easy to style because it’s basically ready to go. It’s also a great deal so I had to share! Let me know if you guys are loving this and if you’ve found any designer dupes lately! You can also shop some other favorites of mine below! Xx
