A Few of My Favorite Travel Style Tips + Tech Accessories
Hi friends! For today’s post I’ll be going over my on the go travel style plus a few of my favorite practical accessories to pack! This is actually a request I’ve gotten a few times, so I’m happy to say I’m finally getting around to it. Between vacations, work trips, and monthly trips to visit family – Clayton and I spend A LOT of time traveling, so I’ve got my go to outfits down. Read on to learn more!
The Essentials
When I travel my main priority is always comfort. Traveling often starts early in the morning or lasts late into the night and it’s extremely tiring. Although I still try to look somewhat fashionable while traveling, I prioritize comfort – even at the cost of being deemed stylish or not. One of my absolute go-to’s for a comfy travel outfit is two piece sweatsuits or loungewear. I’ve linked a few of my favorite sets below. There’s a range of price point and material and all of them will get the trick done. I included a few high end options as this is something I’ve actually personally invested in as I spend so much time traveling and I truly appreciate high quality loungewear! I’ve also included some big loose tees and a pair of biker shorts as that is probably my second favorite travel look aside from a two piece set. It’s so comfortable and breathable and can also be super cute and stylish!

Layer Up And Add Pockets
Another major must for traveling is layering and wearing at least one thing with pockets. Layering comes in handy because you’re often traveling between two climates so it’s nice to have some transitional layers to work with. It’s also great because airplanes are usually freezing or hot and stuffy – come with layers and you’ll be prepared for either. My all time favorite layering piece has to be the Pixie Coat by I.am.Gia as it’s just so cozy. It’s also got huge pockets which is so nice when traveling. I shove my phone, wallet, camera, charger etc. in these pockets without any trouble. Believe it or not this detail can really help alleviate some of the stress and chaos that comes with the hustle and bustle of traveling. I’ve also included a few other layering pieces below!
Outer layers are not the only ones that matter when traveling! I suggest wearing your comfiest undergarments while traveling since it is after all all about comfort. I know this may seem like a menial part of your outfit, but trust me it does matter. I’ve linked a few of my favorite most comfortable pieces below!

Optimal Accessorizing
Lastly I wanted to share a few of my most crucial accessories for travel. The first being shoes. As we all know it’s a bit of a pain to take your shoes on and off during security. You also may end up doing quite a bit of waking depending on airport layout, connecting flights, etc. Therefore rocking comfortable, easily transferable shoes is a major must. I usually opt for some sort of slide/sneaker variation. I’ve linked some of my favorites below.
I also try to pack the most practical and useful tech accessories while traveling as well. My favorite include a portable charger that holds up to 5 charges, my blue light lens glasses (to protect my eyes from all the screen time) and a tech organizer. I’ll link all of these below as well!
That’s it for my travel style guide. Let me know if you’d like to see more travel related posts in the coming year. Maybe I can cover general travel tips, how to over come travel anxiety, how to organize a trip? Let me know!!
