Darling

This is a perfect casual and cute look for a Sunday afternoon. I like to pair a simple graphic tee with some distressed shorts, a few fun accesories and of course a pair of booties! This look is great for tons of Sunday activities, whether running errands, going on a lunch date, or hitting up a sports bar to watch your favorite football team. (P.s. me and mine are very excited to watch the Raiders play today!) Usually on Sundays I end up doing things around the house, running lots of errands, and sometimes I even fit in a little shopping! Since I have moved down to the Bay Area I have really been enjoying the variety of shops around here. This top that I am wearing is from Brandy Melville. I actually picked up this piece a few weekends ago while shopping with my boyfriend’s mom and my friend visiting from Reno. In fact my friend and I both snagged this shirt, so it must be a good find 😉 Now that I have a Brandy Melville store nearby I have been popping in from time to time. I am loving this brand! I have bought a few pieces from here over the last couple of years but I found that I like shopping their clothes better in person than online. Their clothes are simplistic and affordable, yet they are still good quality. They carry some graphic tees such as this one but most of their items are even more  basic and simple, such as silky camis, cozy sweaters, and vintage jeans. All of their pieces are so transitional, which I love because then you end up getting more out of each piece. For example, this top is great with a pair of shorts in the summer but it will also be cute with a baggy sweater or a leather jacket in the colder months. I love unique and daring statement pieces but I find it much harder to utilize them in numerous outfits. So I guess I am discovering the benefit and beauty of simple staples for my wardrobe. Enjoy!
