I have had a love affair with bodysuits for quite some time. I mean, what is not to love about them? One of my favorite parts about bodysuits is that they don’t ride up on you throughout the day. I love the classic “tucked in look” that makes everything look chicer and put together. I personally think bodysuits pair great with a looser fitting pair of jeans, especially when going for a more casual look such as today’s look. The bodysuit gives it that clean-cut look and the baggier pants give it a relaxed edgey feel.
Today’s Bodysuit
For today’s bodysuit I chose to wear this adorable moss green off the shoulder number from Berkley Elleven. This store has amazing stuff and it’s a great way to support a smaller local business. I particularly liked this bodysuit because of the cut and the color. Off the shoulder is definitely one of my absolute favorite cuts because it gives off a sexy look without showing too much skin or going over the top. The moss green color is a great way to keep my look casual and earthy (most of the bodysuits I own are black and they are sometimes challenging to make look casual). I also love the ribbed texture of this piece because it adds another element.
This piece also pairs great with a jean skirt, flare jeans, or even a pair of overalls. Bodysuits are great to wear under overalls so that you don’t have any gaps of skin show up on the sides from the top riding up. It is so easy to play around with this piece because its technically a basic but it still has a lot of personality.
