The “Cool Girl Fit”

When it comes to women’s denim it can be really hard to find a lax pair that gives you that edgy vibe but doesn’t look too sloppy. These slim fit boyfriend jeans from Uniqlo’s new line of denim are the perfect mix of function and flavor. The ankle length creates a tapered leg without becoming too tight or stuffy. And the distressing on the knees and the hem are my absolute favorite part. Distressing (especially around the hem of jeans) is a major trend right now and I am loving it. I have been a fan of distressed denim for as long as I can remember. This current distressing trend is very minimal and chic but still adds some flavor to the jeans, I love it! Needless to say, when you’re rocking these I think you will definitely feel like a “cool girl.”

Denim and Blazers

Is anyone else as obsessed with this combo as I am? I love the idea of putting a spin on work wear with and edgier more casual look. I would typically style a blazer for a more sophisticated professional look, but instead I opted for a less traditional take on the blazer and paired it with these boyfriend jeans. The low cut with a single button adds for a very chic but funky vibe. I love it. I kept the accessories simple but fun to accentuate the “effortless” vibe.
