SPRING 2017 LOOK BOOK
Look 1: Spring Dress, Gingham Style
When I first saw this dress I literally thought to myself “that dress is sooo Spring!” What says Spring style more than a cute gingham sundress? Nothing.
This dress is basically the epitome of Spring, therefore I knew I had to include it in this look book! As you have probably noticed gingham is totally trending this Spring, and I have zero issues with that. Gingham is a classic, chic, and playful pattern that is totally killin the game right now. Wether you choose to have a full on gingham ensemble or mix and match it with various textures and tones you are sure to be fashionable while sporting this print. In fact, it’s such a hot trend that you’ll notice below I had to include it twice in this look book. It’s basically the star of the show 😉
Not only did this dress remind me of Spring when I first laid eyes on it but it also reminded me of a picnic. Naturally this made me want to shoot this look in an open, airy, beautiful grassy area. This dress would be perfect for plenty of spring occasions. From grad party to romantic picnic this style would be a great fit for the occasion. I paired it with this brimmed hat, some black mules, a ruffled choker, and a chic watch. Simple, classic, and playful! A perfect look for Spring 2017!

Look 2: Mix and Match Sets
It’s no secret that I’ve been quite fond of sets over the past few seasons. And nothing about that is changing. But I have decided to mix it up and break away from the matchy matchy sets and veer off into the world of mix and match. At first I was very tempted to create monochromatic matching looks when browsing spring styles. But then I remembered how much I love the patterns of Spring and that I wanted to incorporate those in with some of the staple colors of Spring 2017. That’s how this look was born.
Again, I was inspired by the sort of playful, classic, chic trends that are popping up everywhere this Spring. These dusty pink shorts had Spring written all over them. I also love the scalloped detail as it adds a feminine touch. The high waist is also a great way to add some flare to the look. They are absolutely adorable and super fun. They are perfect for a fresh Spring look. I decided to pair them with this gingham off the shoulder crop, because obviously I’m obsessed with gingham. I threw on a few chokers, my watch, a little black bag, and some flatforms to really bring the whole look together. This look is super fun and flirty and would be perfect for any upcoming Spring events you might be planning!

Look 3: Stripes and Silk
This last look is probably the most classic of all three. Everything about it is basically timeless. In my book a striped trouser is never going to go out of style, and neither is a silky off the shoulder blouse. And although they are never off trend, they are mega on trend right now.
A crisp white trouser with a dainty stripe is the perfect mix of classic and trendy that will make any Spring look really come together. I decided to wear this dusty pink off the shoulder silk number to add a bit more of a feminine flare. This look is pretty effortless looking while still being very chic and very put together. It would be a great look for any upcoming brunches, bashes, etc. I also paired it with my mules (yet again) because they are the perfect Spring 2017 shoe. They are fun and flirty with their block heel and peep toe, but they are chic and classy as well. I added this choker for a bit of an edgy element, threw on my rose gold watch, and called it a look!
