Affordable Fall Fashion
For today’s post I’ll be doing something a little different which is always fun right? One of my favorite parts of this industry is the people I’ve been able to meet and the friendships that have come out of it. A few weeks back at New York Fashion week I was able to meet fellow blogger Jules @jules.jacobson in real life. We’d chatted for a while on the internet so it was a seamless transition into a real life friendship. While we spent time bopping around the city and attending shows we brainstormed on ways we could collaborate together in the future. We thought it would be super fun to showcase East Coast v. West Coast style on a budget. Therefore we’ve teamed up today to show you our unique looks. Ballin On A Budget
In my opinion you don’t have to spend a lot of money to look fashionable. Although I can appreciate higher luxury items, I don’t think they are necessary. One of my favorite things is to show you guys affordable fashion that everyone can enjoy. It’s only fair and it’s so much fine to find the pieces that work for your closet and your wallet. For today’s particular look Jules and I allotted ourselves $100 to H&M. This is a very reasonable budget for a full fall outfit, and H&M is one of my favorite stores to find quality affordable pieces.
The Look
For my look I went all in on some of my favorite Fall trends. I cannot get enough of chunky knits so I was in love when I stumbled upon this muted pink oversized sweater. In order to balance out the look I opted for a sleek tight faux leather mini skirt. I’m actually so excited about this piece because I feel like I’m going to wear it so much this season. It pairs so well with knits and sweaters but I can also see it with band tees, button ups, and bodysuits – so cute!
Unfortunately I wasn’t able to find any shoes that I loved in H&M but I found some other good accessories. The faux croc trend is huge this Fall and Winter so I opted for this cute little round cross body. I’m also all about the fisherman caps. They are the perfect finishing touch to any Fall look.
