A Special Date Night In Seattle

This past weekend my boyfriend and I flew up to Seattle to explore the city, take a vacation, and celebrate our three year anniversary. The trip and the city were everything I hoped they would be and more. We shot a couple of outfits in the city which I’m going to share with you guys over the next week or so. In this post I am going to focus on something a little more personal..love. So I found it most appropriate to include the look I wore for our anniversary dinner.

My Love

My boyfriend is the nicest, most patient, and supportive human I know. I am so lucky to have had him by my side these past few years. His love and support have been game changers for me in many endeavors in my life. I wouldn’t be able to accomplish many of the things I have without his love and support.

For example, I don’t think I would have started The Styled Seed if it weren’t for him. He has encouraged me and supported me in such a way that I truly felt I was capable of trying out this blogging thing and basically anything else I want! Everywhere we go now involves a camera, lots of clothes, and quite a bit of extra time set aside to get shots that I’m happy with. And through all of these things he is so patient, kind, and encouraging. I am so blessed. (Plus he’s SO handsome ^^^ :))

Surround Yourself With Love

I really want to emphasize that this kind of love and support are so helpful and so crucial in fulfilling your dreams. It doesn’t have to come from a partner but it should come from somewhere. Wether it be a group of girlfriends, your family, or even an online community…I highly suggest surrounding yourself with people who are going to raise your spirits when you get a doubt… not agree with you and watch your dream fall by the waist side.

I have had many a time already throughout this journey where I have doubted myself, my content, or my visions. But my boyfriend, amongst many other loving supporters in my life, has always squashed my fears and held my hand (literally and figuratively) through to the next adventure. I have been able to overcome so many fears and obstacles and create so much more because of this love.

Not to mention, all of these photos you see on my blog are all shot by him! He has taken so much time and effort to learn the camera and the kind of shots I like. He also gladly parades around every destination with me awkwardly stopping traffic and climbing things to get the shot. This is true love.

This post is obviously more on the personal side of my life. I just wanted to take this opportunity to give a shout out to my amazing boyfriend, Clayton and let the world know just how much I love and appreciate him. I also wanted to remind all of my readers that its important to keep your circle full of love and support. Sometimes it can be difficult for some of your best friends, or even your family, to see your dream and support you through the ups and downs of it.

And hopefully one day these people will come around. But until then don’t waste your time subjecting yourself to their negative energy. Spend time with people that make you feel invincible, safe, loved, and inspired to keep going. Cheers to Clayton and all of the other amazing people I have in my life.
