Hi friends! I hope everyone had a lovely Christmas with those they love. If you follow along on instagram you know Clayton and I spent the holiday week in the Reno/Tahoe area. We had such a fun catching up with family and friends, hitting up our favorite Reno restaurants, and playing + shooting in the snow!
We spent the majority of our trip down in Reno visiting with my family and catching up with old friends. My dad and step mom have a Christmas party every year so we went straight to that from the airport. My grandparents host a Christmas Eve party every year as well so of course we attended that. For Christmas day and the following days Clayton and I went up to his family’s cabin in Truckee. We had so much fun snow shoeing, sledding, and playing around in the snow + taking in all of its natural beauty.
And for any of you planing a cold trip this winter I’ve got a packing tip for you. I basically packed a bunch of cozy pieces that were all in the same color family (AKA neutral) and just mixed and matched to create a bunch of cozy looks. Basically pack a capsule wardrobe of warm + cozy layers and you’ll be set. Not only will it be super easy to style looks but you’ll also have lots of layer options in case you need more or less depending on the weather!
