Feeling Blessed and Thankful
Happy thanksgiving weekend friends! I have been so busy celebrating all the blessings of this year with family and friends, but it’s been so much fun and I wouldn’t have it any other way!
One of the many things I am feeling super thankful for is The Styled Seed. After a few months of blogging I have learned so much about so many things. My fashion scope has widened and my social network has expanded immensely. My artistic expression has exploded, and my ambition and curiosity for fashion, entrepreneurship, and self growth have sky rocketed.
I didn’t really know what to expect when I started blogging and I still don’t know what’s around the corner next week. But that’s one of the things I like best about blogging, the excitement and surprise of the next endeavor and the constant evolution of my own brand and experience.
I am so thankful to be able to collaborate with brands, photographers, bloggers, and other creatives. I was so pleasantly surprised with the welcoming community that comes along with blogging, and I look forward to the relationships I have yet to build. Today’s look is another one of the outfits I collaborated on with Forever 21, and I was able to shoot it with one of my favorite people and photographers, Max!
The Look
This look is a really fun one. This pastel blush colored bomber jacket is so comfy and cute. The “hello” graphic on the back gives it a playful vibe and the striped cuffs and collar add some flare to the bomber.
I decided to keep everything other than the bomber neutral (aka black) because I thought it was a fun pop of color and I didn’t want to distract from that. This black and white striped body suit is one of my new favs. I love body suits because I think the tucked in look is super flattering and chic, but it can be a pain to keep your shirt tucked in and looking right. Body suits are the answer to this problem. Off the shoulder is also one of my current favorite style so this piece was a major yes for me. I also love these black culotte trousers! They are easy to dress up or down and also very comfortable.
To bring the whole look together I threw on these black booties from h&m that I wear quite often. In some of the photos I am wearing these fun fuzzy hair clips. The look is complete without them but I thought they were so fun and cute. If something more playful and fun is your style they are a great piece. If you are more of the classic simple type, you definitely don’t need them to make the look work!
What are you guys thankful for this year? I’d love to hear! Enjoy your weekend!
