One of the best things about fall is that you can spend time on your makeup and not have it melt off in the heat. So it’s a good time to try out trends and experiment with new looks. You guys probably know by now how much I love fall, so I’m super excited to share these beauty trends and must-haves with you guys. Keep reading for my favorite fall beauty trends and essentials!

Skin
Radiant and fresh-faced makeup is a beauty trend I can definitely get behind this fall. To create this minimal look, I’ve been loving the Smashbox Halo Healthy Glow Tinted Moisturizer (I wear shades Light and Medium Light). Its light formula makes it a great alternative to foundation. And I love the natural dewy look it gives me. It also has broad-spectrum SPF 25, which is a must even in the fall!
All-over highlighter is another trend I’m loving, especially because your skin can start to look duller as it gets colder. Just blend your favorite highlighter onto the high points of your face (cheekbones, brow bones, and Cupid’s bow) to brighten up your skin and give yourself a glow. The Iconic London setting spray is an instant dewey, glazed finish to any look!
Lips
When you think of fall lips, brick and wine-colored shades are usually what come to mind. But bright red and orange lips have been trending on the runway this season. Color is another big beauty trend to note this fall, and I’ve been loving the pop of color it adds to any look. To keep up with the dewy, fresh-faced trend, glossy lips are another lip essential that you need to add to your list. I like to line my lips with a nude lip liner (love the Charlotte Tilbury Lip Cheat Lip Liner in Pillow Talk) and then layer on the gloss. I recently started using the Iconic London lip oils and I am obsessed with the non sticky, glossy sheen they give. You can layer them over a lipstick or just pair with a little bit of liner!
You also can’t forget about your classic nudes! Nudes are a timeless shade you can never go wrong with, no matter what season it is. It’s the perfect shade if you’re not into bold lips but still want a little color on your lips. Lip stains are also huge this fall (another option if you’re not into bold lips!). I love the soft, natural color it gives you and they’re super low-maintenance.
Eyes
This fall, eye makeup is all about dynamic, colorful and bold looks. Think of: colored mascara and eyeliner, smudged floating eyeliner, glossy shadows, bright shadows and two-toned eye looks. Eye makeup is a super easy way to add a colorful moment to your look and the right colors can help your eyes look brighter and bigger. I’ve especially been loving the two-toned look. And it’s a lot easier than it sounds! Just use one shade for your eyelid and another one for your under eyes. You can also line your tightline and waterline in different shades for a more subtle two-toned look!
Amid all the trends, warmer palettes will always be a fall beauty essential. Neutral eye looks always give me fall vibes, which I love. And you can’t forget about the classic winged eyeliner! It’s a simple and timeless look I like to wear year-round. Check out my winged eyeliner tutorial if you haven’t already!
Cheeks
Once you pick the right shade for your skin tone, you can rock any shade of blush. Including orange and bright pink! The idea of orange blush might sound a bit scary, but it’s one definitely work trying. It’ll give you a fresh look that adds the perfect amount of color to your cheeks and depth to your skin. If you’re looking to get a glow, trying sweeping bright pink blush onto your cheeks, temples and under your brow bones to give yourself an all-over flush.
Faux freckles were a huge summer beauty trend, but it’s one I’m definitely taking into fall. ICYMI check out my faux freckles tutorial! You can use an eyebrow pencil, eyeliner, or eyeshadow that’s a few shades darker than your skin tone. Or this buildable, neutral-colored freckle pen!
Hair
There are so many hair trends I’m loving this fall. Like claw clip updos (check out my tutorial!), baby braids, loose side-swept hair, barely there waves, textured ponytails, giant scrunchies, and soft romantic updos. The Revlon hair dryer and volumizer and Head Kany heated round brush are two hair tools I’ve been using on repeat lately. They make recreating these hairstyles so much easier!
