Just Can’t Get Enough
As well all know by now I am obsessed with faux fur jackets. I don’t know if it’s just this season, or this year, or this lifetime but I really cannot get enough of these babies. There’s something about a faux fur jacket that just makes me feel so damn glam, and I mean who wouldn’t want that? It doesn’t matter if it’s a boring old regular Tuesday morning or your 21st birthday in Vegas…a faux fur coat is always an option. I mean honestly, when you’re having a bad day (or a good day) just throw on one of these glamorous coats and you will feel instantly chicer and more luxurious. You may look slightly ridiculous prancing around your house in your pajamas and a faux fur coat but you’ll feel like a queen and that’s all that matters 😉
The Latest Edition To The Squad
I’ve really built up a collection of faux fur in the past few months. I have some fun patterned ones, some darker hues, and some classic ones, but I’ve been longing for a blush pink one. When I saw this baby I knew I had to have it, not to mention it’s a SCREAMING deal which is always a plus for your modern girl balling on a budget.
Blush pink is a very soft girly color that I wouldn’t normally find myself drawn to, but as it’s become one of the staple colors this year I’ve seen it styled in so many different ways that it totally grew on me! It is almost like a neutral in today’s fashion world. It is chic, glam, and feminine without being too over the top for me (i.e. frills, pearls, too many bows, flowers etc.). And like I said, it’s basically like a neutral so it pairs well with EVERYTHING. From a vibrant graphic tee, to leopard print, to a clean crisp white outfit…I can see this blush pink fuzzy piece going with literally everything.
The Look
For today’s look I kept it pretty classic but added some edgy elements for a street-style look. Black is obviously one of the easiest colors to pair with anything. I’ve got more black in my closet than anything else, which is actually something I’m trying to work on because I want to have more color and variety. But what I love about this faux fur coat is that it complements the black so well and it totally adds a fun “statement piece” element to any old boring look. I also had to throw on these fun leopard print booties because….LEOPARD PRINT BOOTIES. And to top it all off I threw on this page boy hat that is one of my all time favorite accessories, especially when you’re hair just won’t cooperate (AKA always).
