I have to admit I am not only missing Disneyland but also the warm sunny weather of LA. Its currently storming in the Bay Area and according to the forecast it’s going to be another week full of showers. I am happy to have the rain as it is good for the planet, and I also happen to love the rain. However, it really makes me miss hanging out in sunny LA.

My New Favorite Sweater

While I was down there last weekend I was able to wear shorts and tank tops, something quite foreign at this time. However, spring is just around the corner. Especially in the fashion world. The seasons move quick in the fashion industry. While you’re busy deciding which scarf you like best with your peacoat designers and brands are already hard at work at Spring’s hottest patterns, cuts, and styles. And before you know it you’re already drooling over the warmer trends.

One of the things I like best about this AMAZING fringe sweater from BerkleyE11even is that its perfect for many seasons. Fringe is one of my all-time favorite styles. I love it on boots, bags, sweaters, skirts…whatever. So this sweater obviously had me falling in love instantly. It’s not a super warm piece as you can tell its very light, but that perfect for the warmer seasons as a nice addition to your look. And for the colder months it would be perfect with some layering. The sweater has so much movement and body its really fun to wear and it really takes the look up a notch in my opinion.

I kept the rest of the look simple as I felt the fringe sweater was clearly the statement piece. This black strapless top from Brandy Melville is a perfect layering piece that you’re going to see many times throughout my wardrobe. These distressed MinkPink shorts are also one of my go-tos for when the sun is out. They are not the classic jean short and I love that they add a little edge to the look. Of course I threw on my favorite black H&M booties and hat, they both just go so well with everything 😉
