A Warmer Weekend

Happy Sunday! I was lucky enough to spend my weekend frolicking around San Diego with my family. It’s always so hard for me to leave the beach and return back to reality. I had so much fun walking up and down the beach, checking out the local bars and restaurants, and visiting with loved ones. To make it even harder I returned to a rainy state here in the Bay Area. So in order to lighten up the day I decided to break out the Christmas decor. I know I may be jumping the gun a little bit on this one but I don’t care because Christmas is Christmas and I’m always ready for some festive decor!

Laid Back

San Diego has a really laid back vibe. Surfers, college kids, and boho babes frequent the area so I decided to wear something laid back and casual while running around the town. This look is definitely more of an urban vibe than beachy but I think it works.  You can sport something like this in a beach town or in a big city. It’s a perfect traveling/exploring outfit. It’s got more of an active wear feel which is perfect for San Diego because there’s fit people running around everywhere. So even though I wasn’t working out I felt like I fit in 😉

A pair of cute leggings or sweats plus a fun sports bra and any kind of zip up is an effortless look that is super cute to wear around! To play on the sporty vibe I threw on this backpack. I love using backpacks as purses as I find them so much more convenient to sling around.
