With the days blurring together in quarantine, life can start to feel like Groundhog Day. And I’m sure a lot of you guys have been feeling the same. Making and sticking to weekly traditions in quarantine helps me create a routine and have something to look forward to. Clayton and I like to time block our days (whether it’s 30 minutes, an hour, or a few hours) to build more structure, give ourselves a purpose, and keep ourselves sane by doing things that we enjoy and make us happy. Here are a few healthy and fun habits we’ve adopted into our weekly quarantine schedule!

Foot Reflexology Board
Foot Reflexology Boards target different pressure points on the bottom of your feet. The idea is that each area of your foot is connected to a certain organ and body system. For example, the tops of your big toes are connected to your brain, and the soles of your feet are connected to your kidneys. So if there’s something specific area you want to target, you can focus on standing and putting more pressure on that part of your foot. We love using a foot reflexology board every day to improve our mood, relaxation, blood circulation, and so much more.
At-home workouts
We’ve been loving working out together in quarantine because it’s always fun to have someone to work out with and help keep you accountable. We like to rotate our workouts so we don’t get tired of doing the same exercises every week. You can do this by writing out your workout for the next day the night before! Mondays and Fridays are usually full-body workouts, Tuesdays and Thursdays will work either the upper body or lower body, and then we take Wednesdays off to rest. On top of our workout routine, I like to do 100 squats and crunches and Clayton likes to do 100 push-ups and crunches every day. If you’re quarantining alone, working out with people over FaceTime can also do the trick!

Gratitude/manifest journal
Writing in our gratitude/manifest journals first thing every morning is an important habit in our quarantine schedule. Keeping a journal helps us spend more time focusing on the good and bringing our vibrations up. Meaning that the more we focus on what we’re grateful for and make us happy, the more our vibrations positively rise. We note what we’re feeling grateful for, whether it’s our family, friends, each other, or a meal we’re looking forward to cooking. And then we manifest what we’d like to happen in our lives. This can be as simple as a to-do list or listing your short and long-term goals! We like to fill at least one page every day of things we’re feeling thankful, happy, and optimistic for.
Nightly kombucha
Kombucha in a wine glass is the perfect way to wind down at the end of the day. We’ve been loving GT’s Synergy Kombucha. Especially the flavors Guava Goddess and Mystic Mango! It’s packed with antioxidants and probiotics that offer a lot of health benefits like strengthening your immune system, improving your digestion, and reducing your blood pressure. We like to enjoy a glass of kombucha while we cook dinner and listen to Norah Jones’ playlist on Pandora (it’s so soothing and makes the best cooking playlist!).
Meditate
Meditating is a weekly habit that helps us decompress at the end of the week and get us ready for the next week. Meditating for even just a few minutes can help reduce stress and anxiety, enhance your self-awareness and concentration, and promote mental and emotional health. It can be as easy as sitting or laying down, closing your eyes, and focusing on how your breath is moving through your body.

Sunday morning cartoons
We don’t watch a lot of TV during the day (except for our nightly dose of “Love Island”), so Sunday morning cartoons always feel like a treat while we eat breakfast. It brings back such a nostalgic feeling!
Facemasks on Mondays and Fridays
It’s been really important for us to focus on our self-care practices in quarantine. And that includes our skincare routine! Facemasks are the perfect way to start your morning with a fresh, clean fash or a relaxing and calming way to end your night. Mondays and Fridays are our chiller days, so we find that we have more time to indulge in some extra self-care on those days. Lately, I’ve been obsessed with Summer Fridays. Especially their R+R Mask!
Disney movie nights on Wednesdays
This is one of our more fun quarantine habits that give us that mid-week break. Disney movies are so nostalgic and make us feel happy! We started this tradition in quarantine and it gives us something fun to look forward to every week.
Weekly sheet wash
We spend a lot more time in bed during quarantine, and I’m sure you guys do too! It’s a cozy place to be, but that also means more dead skin cells, oils, drool and sweat is collecting on your sheets during the week. So we make sure to strip our bed and wash our sheets once a week (Wednesday’s our day!). Doing this weekly can help with allergies, skin irritations, and acne.
