Bare It All
As you can see I’m down to my skivvies in today’s post. And that has inspired me to show a little vulnerability in a different way as well. Today I’ll be sharing some of my own insecurities, doubts, and fears and how I cope with them. We all have a tendency to be a little hard on ourselves, it’s totally normal. But it doesn’t have to to hold you back from living out your dreams and enjoying life to the fullest. Read on for more!
“But I’m afraid of what they will think”
Unfortunately we’ve all been here right? Too concerned with what “they” think that we let what we think take the backseat.
I can tell you that I definitely would have never started The Styled Seed if I cared what “they” thought. And at one point I did care what “they” thought. I was so concerned that people would think I was silly for sharing my fashion advice, or that no one would read my articles because my opinion wasn’t worthy of their time. These were all silly fears and anxieties that held me back from my dream for some time. But as soon as I was able to toss those fears to the side and embrace the adventure of starting this new life I was pleasantly surprised at the positive responses I got. The effect I had on others lives inspired me and motivated me to continue to pursue my dreams and let go of my self doubt and insecurity.
