A Little Bit Of Grit

For today’s look I decided to do some street style. I met up with one of my favorite photographers last week and we headed out to SF’s Chinatown to shoot this look.

Chinatown was the perfect setting for this look because the aesthetic there is a bit gritty. This is perfect for street style because it gives off the city girl vibe. Chain link fences, chipped paint, and laundry hanging from fire escapes was exactly what we were going for.

This look itself is has a little bit of grit just like the setting. The cool girl vibe is in full effect. Snap up wide legged athletic pants are pretty much the coolest thing ever. You can tailor your look to however you are feeling with these pants by buttoning up all the way or letting your legs take center stage like I did.

Girl Power

What is cooler than Girl Power? Nothing. But a t-shirt that says ‘Girl Power’ is a close second 😉

I will forever shamelessly wear and promote anything that embodies female empowerment. So as soon as I laid eyes on this graphic tee I knew I had to have it.

Not to mention, graphic tees that have powerful and important meaning instantly qualify as a cool girl outfit. So whenever you spot a tee that makes you think “HELL YES” you should probably purchase it and wear it as much as possible. I loved the way it looked with this street style look. But it would also pair great with a denim skirt, a pair of overalls, or even under a tank top dress. Stay tuned to see how I style it in the future.

This definitely wont be the last time you see me wearing my ‘Girl Power’ tee.

Top It Off

I finished off the look with some of my favorite go-to accessories.

I pair chokers with basically everything, so it was only fitting that I threw one on for this look. This little denim choker is super cute and a little edgy so it went perfectly.

My leopard jacket is pretty much my favorite thing to pair with anything so it came along for this outfit too. Even though leopard is a bold pattern I treat it as a neutral. It matches everything and it always makes me feel 10x more glam and fabulous then I actually am. Definitely get yourself one.

I also paired some oversized round sunnies because they are kind of my thing. Lastly I threw on these wedged sneakers and headed out.
