Styling A Few Of My Favorite Spring Trends

Hi guys! Long time no talk, at least over here on the blog. Things have been crazy lately – when are they not? But between fighting off a virus, surviving Coachella season, and other things I’ve had to put the blogging part of my job on the back burner. Part of this is also due to the fact that I’ve been growing my Youtube channel and that’s take up A LOT of my time and effort. But I’m having so much fun with it! Anyway, for today’s post I’ll be sharing a very Spring-y look fully equipped with a few of my favorite trends this season. Let’s get into it!

Suits for Spring

Suits pretty much work in every season. They are truly a classic and can be styled in so many different ways. Today’s suit is a perfect rendition of a warmer month suited look. Although it’s chic, classic, and very fashionable it’s not stuffy, overdressed or inappropriate for the season. The longer shorts are a perfect way to make a suit appear more fun and carefree but still polished and appropriate. I also loved that the length of the shorts gave it a bit of a boyish vibe – totally my style.

All the pieces of this suit are playing up on my favorite Spring trends. The longer shorts are SO in right now and I’d like to own them in every material. From denim, to biker shorts, and these suit shorts – I’m loving the longer hem. It also helped me feel more comfortable rocking heels as it balanced out the boyish element.

The suit jacket is a great blazer piece that can be worn with or without the shorts. In fact, later in the evening I swapped out the shorts for a pair of light wash denim and it paired perfectly with the blazer. The neutral color is great for so many looks and will definitely carry over to other seasons as well! I love pairing it with basic tees or little graphic tees like this Calvin Klein one.

On Trend Accessories

One of my favorite trends at the moment is the mini bag movement. As you can see I mean really mini. They may not be the most wildly practical thing, but they are in and I love them. This one fits my credit cards, keys, lip gloss, etc.

Another trend I’m loving is any pair of sandals/booties/heels with a square toe. I’ve been loving on this design for months as it’s been in for a few seasons. However I felt that it was only being done in the higher end space, but as of lately I’ve seen a lot more affordable brands adopt the trend. These white heeled sandals are a new favorite of mine. Not only is the design killer, but they are also SO comfortable. They match pretty much any look too. And I think they are an edgier heel, not too girly which is great for me!

To top off the look I added in my favorite gold hoops. I wear these all year long and I swear they make every look better. I also added in a classic pair of my oval sunnies which I can never get enough of! What do you guys think about this look? What trends are you loving for Spring?
