Weekend Uniform

Happy Friday! I am so glad it’s the weekend and I can relax from the long work week! Today’s look is a perfect mix of sporty and spicy, easy to throw on for any of your weekend activities! Plus this look is super easy basics. I would wear this style for date night, a target run, and anything in between! Sometimes its fun to look a little extra cute while running errands.

I love this look because it’s somewhere between very chic and very tomboy. This Forever21 top that I’m wearing is one of my new favorite staples. After receiving it in the mail I actually ordered 2 more, because it’s only 8 DOLLARS, it fits like a dream, and the colors are so neutral and will match everything!! The other two I ordered are black, and olive green. For this look I paired the top with these distressed boyfriend style shorts, nude booties, and a cap and I think it worked out great. But as soon as I tried it on I knew it was going to go with so many looks! It is a great basic to throw under a jean or leather jacket, as well as a great piece to pair with overalls or a jumper! I am in love.

I am also LOVING these shorts from GoJane. Distressed denim is one of my all-time favorite looks. I know it may not be everyone’s cup of tea but I have had a love affair with holes in my jeans from a very early age. I think distress adds the perfect edge to any look and can even be playful depending on how its styled!Nude booties and a nude baseball hat are obviously great accessories as well. I throw them on way too often because they match everything!

As you can tell, all of the pieces from today’s look are very versatile and fun pieces that I use all year long. So don’t be surprised when you see them make a return to the blog!
