This past weekend we had the pleasure of taking a little road trip and heading out to the Miramonte Resort in Palm Springs for a few days. I don’t know about you, but I love the feeling of a little weekend getaway! Especially when it’s somewhere you can road-trip too. There’s something extra fun about road-tripping it rather than all of the hustle of airports, ride sharing etc. Needless to say it was a perfect way to kick off spring and get away somewhere a little warmer. Read on to learn more about our stay!
Dreamy Days in Palm Springs
If you guys have never been to Palm Springs I highly recommend it. It is one of the most picturesque unique places I’ve ever been to. The landscape is breathtaking. From talk jutting mountains, plenty of palm trees (my favorite) and the ever magical desert – Palm Springs has it all. I always feel relaxed but inspired after visiting Palm Springs. This time of year (early Spring) is definitely one of my favorite times to visit the area as the weather is SO enjoyable. It was around 70-75 the whole weekend, with cooler nights which was just perfect! It was also a beautiful time of year to visit as there was SO many wild flowers blooming out in the desert. Can’t beat that!
It was also the perfect time of year to visit as a blogger, seeing that we like to go out and shoot some pre-festival Coachella inspired content in the desert. You can check out my Instagram posts from the trip here and the Coachella Style Try On Haul we filmed while there here!

Resort Hangs
We spent some time exploring the surrounding area, adventuring in the desert, and shooting around town but for the most part Clayton and I hung out at the resort all weekend. Having everything you need in one place is just so nice and makes for such a relaxing stay.
We especially enjoyed the pool area at Miramonte. It’s not a huge resort so it had a very laid back vibe and was pretty chill, nothing too crazy or clubby which is totally not our vibe. They even have fun little cabanas you can reserve to hang out in all day. We decided to enjoy some frozen pina coladas poolside on Saturday afternoon. It was such a treat!
We also enjoyed the Citrus and Palm restaurant at Miramonte. The breakfasts there were my favorite part. I started each day off with their ‘juice of the day’ full of nutrients from kale, lemon, melon and pineapple. It was so yummy! I already miss it;) They were also so sweet and accommodating and made me a custom breakfast of potatoes, grilled veggies, and avocado. It was delicious and beautifully presented!
We also really enjoyed walking around the beautiful grounds of Miramonte. The landscaping is so well done and so beautiful. We especially enjoyed early morning strolls while the sun was still rising, the birds were waking up and the grounds were very quiet. Such a nice way to spend a weekend morning! 🙂
